This little girl has been my best nurse and Cheerleader, She has been battling my illness for almost 5 years! She will bring be pillows, blankets and water, while I am in the bathroom being Chemo-related sick. Which she has dealt with as a champ! She put a bell beside my bed in case I needed her! She also walked with me in the jimmy fund walk for the Dana Farber Cancer Institute in Boston, also she will be walking with me this year as well on Sept. 16, 2007, Unfortunately we have to undergo another brain surgery, making it three total! But I know she will jump right into nurse mode with no complaints. She has raised money for cancer, by canning for cancer, Jimmyfund little Leauge, announing the name of each player, while collecting money at these games, Lemondade stands, makeing posters and so much more! She donated her own money to my website WWW.jimmyfundwalk.org/Team Neuro/Kelly Adamson, All while Keeping up great grades at school. Shannon wrote about the first walk and wrote she would never forget it. I am so proud of her! She is also great at giveing foot massages (lol) without being asked, she just knows what you need some how.
