During my brest cancer diagnosis,chemo and radiation treatments, and cancer "aftershock" I didn't really have a caregiver. It was a real down time for me, extremely difficult. When I went back to work Karen took the role of a caregiver for me. She was always around when I needed a shoulder to cry on. She gave me hope when I felt like I was crashing in on myself. Karen is non-judgemental, firm, and always has time to listen. She is proud that she can "nag" in a good way and get her point across when I didn't want to hear the truth. Karen inspired me to go on, to make certain choices and to be able to see my life as important and worthwhile. I am grateful to have Karen in my life, she is an amzing woman.
