Anthony Wright

Honored by Christine Hart-Wright
While I have several sister friends that have been with me through my recovery period, my husband Anthony has been a constant source of support since I was first diagnosed. He has going with me for my doctor visits, brought home hats and scarfs for me to wear before and after I lost my hair. He has prayed over me and for me. One day I was feeling really bad, he blew up ballons and made funny ears to wear. He would sing funny songs to keep my spirits high. One day he decided to wash my feet (he did not know the chemo made your soles dark. I thought he was going to scrub the skin off my feet.) I know that when you take your vows you say for better or worse, in sickness and in health but many people don't realize how sick one can get during a sickness. I am thankful to have my husband standing beside me and also standing in the gap for me when I could not stand for myself.
