Since the focus of The Star Campaign™ is to honor the caregivers in our lives, we wanted to learn more about this specific population. In May 2007 we surveyed over 200 cancer patients, survivors and caregivers. This survey provides insight into the unique concerns and pressures caregivers face when caring for a loved one. For the purposes of this survey, a caregiver was defined as a family or friend, not a health care provider or social worker, who supports a cancer patient in a variety of ways.
